January 2018 proved to be a busy start to the year for the BlueSky Education team – with numerous successes for our clients in global, national and trade outlets. Here are some of January’s highlights.
A professor from one of our clients, Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM), looked into how Twitter could impact stock market predictions. The research found surprising results, suggesting that by analysing Twitter posts, scientists could predict stock market movements and help traders make decisions on investments. The research featured in a number of publications, including The Independent, City AM and Global Banking and Finance Review.
We secured coverage for one of our clients in a Financial Times article - which discussed how a large amount of MBA graduates were following a Big Tech career path, and how banks were trying to lure MBA grads away. Our client, MIP Politecnico di Milano, featured in this article through the comments from an alum who was the only member of his class who moved into a banking career after completing his MBA.
In an article published in the Economist online, entitled ‘Design thinking: People first’, we managed to secure coverage for two of our clients, Imperial College Business School and Aalto Executive Education, from Finland, through their comments on this topic. Both clients offered their insights on design thinking, and how they have integrated it into their MBA programmes.
In the Times Higher Education magazine – and online, we secured coverage for one of our clients, Université Paris-Saclay, regarding their decision to scrutinise the ethics of AI research. This coverage came in the form of a full article on their decision to set up a panel to explore the ethical implications of research into new technologies within the university.
We also secured coverage for a professor from our client, HEC Paris, by setting up an interview for him with International Finance Magazine. This interview covered a 4-page spread, where the professor offered his insights into the trading trends of 2018 and the skills needed for a current trader to be successful in their role.
These are just a few examples of the quality coverage that we have secured for our clients this month.
