April is a busy month in the world of higher education - from admissions decisions to end-of-term deadlines. And for our clients, our PR work resulted in the form of some fantastic media coverage! Courtesy of our collaboration, we've secured features for leading Business Schools in top-tier, business education and trade media publications, showcasing their academic excellence, commitment to innovation and, for some, some very important updates!
One such update came via INSEAD's announcement of its new Dean – news for which we successfully got coverage in the likes of Poets&Quants, the world’s leading business school news outlet, the Financial Times, and Business Because. Poets&Quants is known for its in-depth analysis and insights into everything business education-related, making it an ideal platform to showcase INSEAD’s big announcement.
A fantastic way to boost your institution's reputation is by lifting up your professors and faculty - this month, Vlerick Business School professor, Martin Butler, was featured in Silicon UK to talk about his work on responsible business. More often than not, commentary by faculty can sum to a line or two, which is great to see. But it was fantastic to see so much of Martin’s work used in the article, really underlining the work ongoing at Vlerick in a publication that matches their strategic PR goals.
April is also the month during which Earth Week happens. Sustainability, as it is for higher education, is an extremely important topic for business schools. An article on Forbes showcased the fantastic talent belonging to entrepreneurs from King’s Business School, Imperial College Business School, GBSB Global Business School, The International Master’s Program for Managers (IMPM), and Trinity Business School towards environmental sustainability in their recent Earth Day feature. Forbes is one of the most widely read publications online, accomplishing the wide net schools want to cast when sharing their progress in this field. A good national holiday and global celebration should never go to waste, and can be a fantastic opportunity for your PR efforts to highlight your own work!
Often, we send out press releases to achieve widespread coverage, as opposed to targeting a select few publications. A recent example of this is a press release for ESMT Berlin we distributed which spoke to "blinding" in corporate settings to combat gender bias. Notably, this press release was read by nearly 13,000 individuals across 12 distinct publications, ultimately reaching an audience of nearly 12 million.
We are delighted to have helped our clients receive such fantastic coverage in top-tier publications, promoting their achievements, values, and goals. If you are interested in hearing how we can help your PR efforts, get in touch with us today!
