As January comes to a close, it’s safe to say that BlueSky Education has had an outstanding start to the New Year. Having secured countless pieces of quality media coverage for our clients, we’re on track to make 2021 our best year to date.
Entering into the New Year, BlueSky was keen to hit the ground running. So, over the course of January, we secured media coverage for our clients in Forbes, the Guardian, Business Insider, Bloomberg, Yahoo News, the Financial Times and the Irish Times. One particular piece of coverage, published within the first week of the year, which featured online and in the print edition of the Scotsman, came from Trinity Business School. The article looked at the pros and cons of crowdfunding, and featured recent research from Trinity which had investigated the long-term effects of equity crowdfunding. With a readership of around 6 million readers per month, the Scotsman was the ideal outlet for giving this research a boost.
Another standout of piece of press exposure comes from emlyon business school in France who featured in I News – both online and in print – via one of their professors. The article, which looked at the ever-growing popularity of gambling in professional football, featured expert commentary from the emlyon professor, and demonstrated the sheer breadth of expertise at the business school.
Throughout January, as business schools and universities began to focus more on admissions for the coming academic year, BlueSky also secured an impressive amount of media coverage for our clients in education press. We’ve secured media exposure for our clients in a number of leading education-focused outlets, including BusinessBecause, Poets&Qaunts, FE News, the AACSB, EduOpinions, Study International, and India Education Diary. In a recent article around the hottest apps to look out for in 2021, published on BusinessBecause, we were able to secure features for Trinity Business School, ESMT Berlin, ESCP Business School and Vlerick Business School.
Outside of education press, we’ve secured a huge amount of media coverage for our clients in wider trade publications. A standout example comes from Vienna University of Economics and Business who featured in Bloomberg Tax’s Tax Management International Journal, as well as in Bloomberg Tax’s Daily Tax Report. Harnessing the expertise of one of their faculty members, Vienna was able to offer an article around how to ensure that state-owned companies pay their taxes. Featuring in one of Bloomberg Tax’s prestigious journals, as well as live on their site, has given this research a fantastic platform which reaches a huge readership of tax professionals and other academics.
