November was yet another busy month for BlueSky Education and our clients. As schools sought to ramp things up before the inevitable Christmas closure period, we’ve been busy making sure our clients’ media goals are realised.
It seems only right to open with The Economist. Last month, we secured an outstanding piece of coverage for Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Business and one of its extraordinary alumni. A testament to the academic excellence of Nazarbayev, the article discussed how their MBA facilitated the career transformation of a student, providing him with the tools to go from extracting oil to working in cardiology.
Another great piece comes via the The Times. Featuring Rotterdam School of Management, the article discussed why eating popcorn actually makes films less riveting: because food distracts consumers from what was taking place in front of them. Academics strongly suggest leaving the snacks at home if you want to be fully immersed!
And, if this wasn’t enough, we also secured fantastic exposure for emlyon Business School via a guest contribution in The Independent. The piece showcased some interesting research from a faculty member around why identifying as a ‘witch’ has become more popular, and even empowering in the 21st century. Turning briefly back to top tier outlets, GMAC was featured in Forbes discussing a recent study that found that although there are more women at business schools, far more still needs to be done to promote inclusion.
Looking beyond national and top tier media coverage, we also achieved amazing results within the higher and business education space. This great article in Business Because, for example, featuring Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, saw one of the school’s career experts offer advice to candidates around answering unexpected questions during MBA interviews.
And, in QS Top MBA, NEOMA Business School provided some fascinating insights into what it’s doing to encourage more women into leadership roles with the aim of educating business schools to become more mindful of representation and gender equality. Meanwhile, harnessing the International Science Council's platform, The Association of Commonwealth Universities offered top tips for academics presenting complex data in ways that are easy to understand and have impacts that might help address issues such as climate change.
Beyond these examples, our team at BlueSky also achieved extensive media exposure for our clients in a whole host of leading publications, including the likes of the AACSB, City AM, HR Zone, MSN, EFMD and more.
These were just a few highlights of the media coverage BlueSky Education secured for our clients in November. If you’d like support in achieving media coverage for your business school or university, contact BlueSky Education today.
