The month of May brought with it sunshine as well as some great coverage for clients of BlueSky Education in a number of international publications. Below are some highlights of the quality media coverage we secured this past month.
A pitch from the BlueSky Education team led to a fascinating opinion editorial by Nathalie Janson, an economics professor from NEOMA business school, featuring in euronews, allowing her to share her expertise with a wider European audience. The article, titled ‘Eurozone citizens were sold a lie – and now their economies are paying the price’ explores how countries joining the euro may have made a mistake doing so based on misinformation about the single currency leading to greater economic opportunity.
Professor Will Venters from the London School of Economics’ Department of Management was quoted this month, in not one but two articles: first in a Telegraph piece titled ‘Making sense of the knowledge economy’ and then in an article in Raconteur called ‘AI in business: looking beyond the hype’. The Telegraph article discussed the knowledge economy and its growth in business with Professor Venters commenting on how AI is important for the future of the knowledge economy. The article in Raconteur explained the current understanding of AI, its use in business and how it should be understood as a tool for achieving business objectives.
Some more coverage for LSE Department of Management came in the form of an article in Authority Magazine. This was an interview with Tara Chandra, an entrepreneurial alumna from the school’s Executive Global Master’s in Management programme, which featured as part of the publication’s “Big Ideas” entrepreneur series. Tara has launched a range of socially-conscious, completely natural and affordable feminine hygiene products under the brand name FLO and managed to get them into many UK high street stores as well as exporting into the EU, Egypt and the US. A great success story!
Another alumnus, this time from Imperial College Business School, featured in an article on QS TopMBA in an interview entitled ‘What I learned from starting my own company’. As the title would suggest, Krishna Venkata points out the various challenges he faced when setting up his company, HiredGrad. This piece provided great coverage for the school as Krishna discussed the importance of choosing the right business school when it comes to your degree.
Finally, a press release which BlueSky Education produced on a research paper from professors at ESMT generated an amazing number of press hits within trade press. This release featured in Market Business News, PhysOrg, Science Codex, and Marketing Dive, just to name a few. The press release outlined how the professors had devised a new framework to help marketers provide better product information to customers, as poor product placement caused consumers to make inferior purchasing decisions.
These are just a few examples of the great coverage BlueSky Education has provided for its clients this month.
