As November comes to an end and the BlueSky Education team looks forward to the Christmas holiday break, we take a look back at some of the great coverage we gained for our clients over the month of November. As ever, the BlueSky Education team had an extremely busy month, gaining numerous pieces of coverage in international, national and trade news outlets for our clients. Below we take a look at just a few examples of the fantastic media exposure we have secured this month.
At the beginning of the month, Imperial College Business School presented their own hologram lecturers. Being the worlds-first university to deliver lectures in real-time by hologram, the story naturally got lots of attention. A press release that BlueSky education wrote and distributed, coupled with a launch event, ended up going viral featuring, in over 240 different outlets and reaching a global audience of over 20 different countries. The piece featured in outlets such as The Financial Times, BBC, The Times, The Daily Telegraph, Daily Mail, The Guardian and Poets & Quants.
We also secured coverage for a number of our clients, Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM), UCL School of Management and emlyon business school, in an article in Italian newspaper Correire della sera. This article featured in a special education edition and on their online news site, and was focused around new Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) at global business schools.
BlueSky Education also set up a TV interview for a professor from one of our clients, Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM). The professor was interviewed by BBC World News service all about his research into whether or not companies should listen to their customers advice, when creating new products.
This month BlueSky Education also wrote and distributed a press release on a piece of research from a professor at emlyon business school. The research was into whether or not beauty and appearance had an effect on how likely voters were to elect corporate directors. This press release was published in BusinessMatters and DiversityQ, but also prompted a full article on Forbes online news platform.
In an article about Japan’s work culture, BlueSky Education also managed to gain coverage via the comments of a professor. This article featured on The Daily Telegraph’s website, and had comments from various commentators, including a professor from our client, UCL School of Management.
At the beginning of November, six different business schools, including three clients, joined forces to create a stronger, more collaborative and more digital learning experience for their students. BlueSky Education distributed a press release on this pact, gaining coverage in a number of publications such as the Financial Times and Poets & Quants, for Imperial College Business School, ESMT Berlin and BI Norwegian Business School.
This is just a small selection of the coverage that we’ve achieved for our clients in November, but we hope this provides an indication of wide spread and high-profile nature of publications we work with, and the kind of outstanding media exposure we are able to secure for our clients.
