May marks the beginning of summer. Across Europe and beyond, many countries continue to celebrate May Day each year, ushering in the (hopefully) warm weather with plenty of festivities.
It has certainly been a fruitful month at BlueSky Education, with fantastic coverage delivered for our clients in a range of top-tier media and well-renowned trade publications. Here is a snapshot of how the start of summer is shaping up for BlueSky’s clients.
The Financial Times continues to be a coveted achievement among business schools and May is the month the Executive Education 2024 special report was published. A host of different schools and organisations reflected on how executive courses were learning to mind the gaps in multigenerational workplaces, including BI Norwegian Business School, Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development, and global accrediting body AACSB International. The article provides key insights into how business schools are responding to the ever-changing needs of the global business community, and is a reminder that keeping an eye on target publications’ editorial calendars (when possible) should be an important part of any school’s media strategy.
A similar article published in QS Insights and on the QS GEN website discussed how business schools are preparing for the future cohorts of Generation Alpha students. The article features insights from ESSEC Business School, the School of Management at the University of Bradford, and GMAC, among others. It once again demonstrates the business education sector’s commitment to maintaining currency and relevancy in its teaching methods.
There was also a fantastic article published in Ambition Magazine, the official publication of the accrediting organisation AMBA, following on from the female deans’ conference. It is a wonderful example of the way coverage can multiply, with speaking opportunities for key spokespeople leading to written coverage further down the line. The roster of contributing female deans was extensive, with Delphine Manceau (NEOMA Business School), Barbara Stöttinger (WU Executive Academy), Marion Debruyne (Vlerick Business School), and others all sharing their thoughts on a range of issues relating to women at work.
May was also a great month for research, with a study from NEOMA Business School featuring in The Irish Times. The article highlighted how workers are experiencing a new wave of “techno isolation”, partly brought on by new digital tools and remote working making it harder for employees to have spontaneous interactions with colleagues. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase how the school addresses prevalent issues in society through impactful research.
Of course, as always this is just a small window into the many opportunities secured for BlueSky Education’s clients in May. Other hits included publications like the EFMD Blog, BusinessBecause, and BlueSky Thinking.
