January 2023 was a smashing success for our PR efforts, and a great start to the year. We were proud to have secured coverage for some of the most prestigious business schools around, and as always we wanted to make sure that these worked with their strategic PR goals and organisational values.
Business Because, a leading publication known for its coverage of the b-school industry, featured ten of our clients in an article discussing the biggest trends in business education in 2023. Incredible institutions – from the likes of INSEAD, and University of Mannheim Business School to King’s Business School – all featured. Talk about exposure! With Business Because's engaged readership, our clients are now at the forefront of a publication that is turned to by its readers for industry-specific stories and advice.
Emlyon Business School featured in Startups Magazine, discussing the importance of AI for small and medium-sized businesses. The coverage aligned with Emlyon's focus on innovation and technology, and the publication's tech-savvy audience only amplified the school's message. With trade media, whilst not always having the audience size of top-tier publications, schools are afforded the scope to highlight in more depth their leadership in specific areas.
Durham University Business School, meanwhile, featured on our platform, BlueSky Thinking. Courtesy of our fantastic clients, we have a pool of research that the world needs to see. Research from Durham allowed us to highlight a really important topic on the impacts of pollution to health, and further underlined the school's commitment to sustainability. Often, these pieces of research are ones we have already found homes for in the media, allowing one article of work to get multiple pieces of coverage online.
Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Business featured in a digital magazine by Open Access Government that explored Asian socio-economic and political issues. Not only this, but the research by Professor Daniel Scarborough on why it is important to study history made the front cover, highlighting the importance of the work they are doing. Relationship building with journalists and publications allows us to ensure our clients not only get featured in media, but have the correct space to do so. Who doesn’t love a front cover feature!?
And of course, with January comes a host of opportunities to feature in new-year themed articles – like one on Forbes which discussed 2022’s best and worst leaders. The faculty we work with are some of the best academics on leadership and management, so schools and institutions such as WU Executive Academy, LSE IDEAS and Imperial College Business School were a fantastic fit for this article and provided some great opinions. As always with top-tier media, the piece was republished across the internet, providing for even more hits for our clients.
All in all, our PR team kicked butt in January 2023, securing coverage for our clients in well-known, relevant publications with huge audiences, giving us great momentum for the coming year. We worked hard to align our clients' values and goals with the editorial focus of each publication, resulting in major exposure and solidifying these biz schools as leaders in their fields.
